Will you listen to what we want?
Absolutely. Your planning call starts with you talking and us taking notes about your story, your people, your must-plays, and your do-not-play list. We build the night around your answers. If a guest requests a song you’ve ruled out, we won’t play it, and we’ll handle the request discreetly.
What happens on the planning Zoom?
Before you book or commit, we’ll meet for a free 30-minute Zoom to see whether we’re a good fit for each other. We’ll talk about the celebration you’re imagining, what matters most to you, and your questions. There’s no deposit and no pressure. Our Packed Floor Promise is tailored to your priorities, so we’ll talk through what that means for your wedding.
Can’t a friend just run Spotify?
A friend can put together a great playlist. A professional DJ also brings the sound equipment and microphones your reception needs, reads the room, and makes adjustments as the night unfolds. We handle announcements and help keep your timeline moving, so someone you love can enjoy the celebration instead of managing it.
You’re pricier than some other DJs. Why?
Our pricing reflects the care that goes into your wedding, from planning through the last song. You’re getting premium equipment, timely setup, uniformed staff, and a team focused on making the night run smoothly. That preparation lets you relax and enjoy the celebration with your guests.
What is your backup plan?
We bring backup equipment for everything essential to your day, including DJ boards, lighting, mixers, power sources, microphones, and speakers, all readily available on-site.
Are we supposed to tip our wedding DJ?
Tips are never expected and always appreciated. If the night earned it, $50–$200 is a welcome gesture. A glowing review and a referral mean even more to us.
Can we add special effects or a photo booth?
Yes. Ask us about cold sparks, a photo booth, or dancing on clouds. We’ll talk through what fits your plans. Special effects are subject to your venue’s approval, so we’ll need to confirm what the venue allows before including them.
